• Sonakshi Sinha's debut was opposite Arbaaz Khan's brother Salman in Dabangg (2010). Arbaaz produced the film and cast her after seeing her in a music video — she had no acting experience. He later said he took a 'huge gamble' on her.
• In all three Dabangg films, Arbaaz played the villain Makhanchand 'Makkhi' Pandey. Sonakshi's character Rajjo never shared a single dialogue with him on screen — their entire 'relationship' was through Salman's character Chulbul Pandey. They never had a scene alone together.
• Arbaaz Khan directed Sonakshi in a music video for the song 'Tere Bina' in 2017, years after their last film together. She agreed without reading the script, just because he asked. He called her 'family' on set.
• Sonakshi once said about Arbaaz: 'He is the most chilled-out producer I've worked with. On Dabangg sets, he'd be eating paan and laughing while I was nervous about my first shot ever.'
• Because Arbaaz produced the Dabangg series and cast Sonakshi as the female lead, she became the first actress in Bollywood to debut opposite Salman Khan and then star in two sequels with him. That trilogy launched her career — she didn't have a single hit before or after outside the Dabangg universe.
