• Prem Chopra was already a veteran villain when producer K.C. Bokadia cast him in 'Phool Bane Angaarey' (1991). Bokadia needed a cold-blooded antagonist who could match Rajesh Khanna's star power — and Chopra's sneer did the job.
• On the set of 'Tyaagi' (1992), Bokadia let Prem Chopra improvise his dialogue delivery. Chopra's slow, menacing pauses became the film's signature — a rhythm Bokadia then wrote into the script for later scenes.
• Bokadia and Chopra stayed in touch for over two decades after their first film. When Bokadia revived his production house in 2013 for 'Deewana Main Deewana', he called Chopra first — no audition, just a handshake deal.
