
Pulivaal(2014)
Pulivaal is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language comedy thriller film directed by G. Marimuthu. The lead cast includes Prasanna, Vimal, Ananya, Iniya, Oviya, and Soori. The story follows two men from opposite social classes whose lives collide after a lost mobile phone is found and kept. Karthik, a wealthy businessman, desperately needs his phone back because it contains evidence of his extramarital affair. Kasi, a poor supermarket worker, keeps the phone hoping to make quick money. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Chaappa Kurish (2011). It received mixed reviews from critics who praised the performances but noted the predictable plot. The music was composed by N. R. Storyline
A poor supermarket worker named Kasi finds an expensive mobile phone dropped by a wealthy businessman named Karthik. Kasi decides to keep the phone and sell it for money. But Karthik needs that phone back because it contains secret videos of his affair. He hires a violent thug to recover it. Kasi's simple act of dishonesty pulls both men into a dangerous spiral of threats, beatings, and broken lives.
