Kali Ganga(1990)
Kali Ganga is a 1990 Hindi action film directed by the Ramsay brothers. It stars Dimple Kapadia as the titular dacoit, alongside Govinda, Suresh Oberoi, and Prem Chopra. The story follows Gangavati, a village woman who turns to banditry after her mother dies from shock caused by the local Thakur's men. She seeks revenge against Thakur Hukumchand and his three violent sons. The film was part of the late 80s and early 90s trend of female dacoit dramas in Bollywood. It received negative reviews and performed poorly at the box office. Critics noted that Dimple Kapadia's elegant screen presence did not suit the role of a rugged outlaw.
