Nyaya Tharasu(1989)
Nyaya Tharasu (transl. Scales of Justice) is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. Rajeshwar in his directorial debut. It stars Nizhalgal Ravi and Radha in lead roles. The story follows Bharathi, a Naxal activist on parole, who faces rejection from her family and society. She finds refuge with a journalist, Thazhamuthu, and they fall in love. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Panchagni and features a screenplay by M. Karunanidhi. It won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Third Best Film, and Nizhalgal Ravi won the Cinema Express Award for Best Supporting Actor. The soundtrack was composed by Shankar–Ganesh with lyrics by Vairamuthu. The film was released in 1989.

Storyline
A Naxal activist returns home on parole after killing a landlord who raped and murdered a tribal woman. She struggles to find acceptance from her family and society. A journalist helps her, and they fall in love. But when she discovers her friend being gang-raped, she must choose between her freedom and doing what is right.
