Oomai Vizhigal is a 1986 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by R. Aravindraj. The film stars Vijayakanth, Arun Pandian, Karthik, Chandrasekhar, and Jaishankar. Ravichandran and Malaysia Vasudevan play negative roles. The story follows a journalist and a police officer investigating a series of kidnappings at a picnic village. The film was inspired by real murders in a Tamil Nadu tribal village. It was produced and written by Aabavanan. The cinematography by A. Ramesh Kumar was praised for matching Hollywood standards. The film won the Cinema Express Award for Best New Face Director and Best Cameraman. It was released on 15 August 1986 and became a major commercial success.

Storyline
