
Deivam(1972)
'Deivam' (transl. God) is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language devotional anthology film edited and directed by M. A. Thirumugam. The cast includes Gemini Ganesan, R. Muthuraman, A. V. M. Rajan, Srikanth, K. R. Vijaya, Sowcar Janaki, Nagesh, and Thengai Srinivasan. The film presents six separate stories about miracles performed by Lord Muruga in the lives of his devotees. Each story is set at one of the six Abodes of Murugan and is narrated by the spiritual teacher Thirumuruga Kripananda Variyar. The film was praised by critics for its direction, editing, and music composed by Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan. It was released on 4 November 1972.

Storyline
A thief tries to steal Lord Muruga's jewels and loses his leg. A wife abandoned by her husband prays for reunion. Two friends fall out over money meant for the temple. A merchant loses everything to thieves. A man learns faith after finding an empty cigarette pack. Each story ends with a divine miracle.
