Dostana is a 1980 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by Raj Khosla and written by Salim-Javed. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, and Zeenat Aman in lead roles. The story follows two best friends, a police officer and a lawyer, who fall in love with the same woman, leading to conflict exploited by a criminal. The film features a supporting cast including Prem Chopra, Amrish Puri, and Pran. It was the fourth highest-grossing film of 1980 in India. The music was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal with lyrics by Anand Bakshi. The film was nominated for four Filmfare Awards, including Best Actor for both Bachchan and Sinha. It was the last film directed by Raj Khosla and was later remade in Tamil as Sattam.

Storyline
Two best friends, Vijay and Ravi, live together and share everything. Vijay is a police officer and Ravi is a lawyer. They both fall in love with the same woman, Sheetal. A powerful criminal named Daaga uses this love triangle to destroy their friendship. The friends must overcome betrayal and danger to save their bond and defeat the villain.
