Cheena Thaana 001 is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by T. P. Gajendran. The film stars Prasanna and Sheela in lead roles, with Vadivelu, Manivannan, Riyaz Khan, and Delhi Ganesh in supporting roles. It is a remake of the 2003 Malayalam film C.I.D. Moosa. The story follows Tamizharasu, a young man who aspires to become a police officer but is blocked by corrupt cops. Storyline
Tamizharasu wants to be a police officer, but corrupt cops keep failing him. When he uncovers a terrorist plot to kill the Governor, the same cops try to silence him. With no one to trust, he starts his own detective agency with a funny thief and his retired father. Together, they must stop the assassination and prove that honesty wins.
