Veeranadai is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Seeman. The cast includes Sathyaraj, Arun Pandian, Khushbu, and debutante Uma. The story follows Periya Karuppan, a village leader who raises his orphaned niece alone. He refuses to marry until she is grown. When his niece learns of his sacrifice, she announces she will only marry him. This creates conflict with the jealous rival Kottaisamy and the woman who loves him. The film explores themes of family duty and sacrifice. It was released on 28 April 2000. The music was composed by Deva.
