Nuvvu Nenu is a 2001 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film directed by Teja. The film stars Uday Kiran and Anita Hassanandani in lead roles, with Tanikella Bharani, Sunil, and Banerjee in supporting roles. The story follows Ravi, a rich college sportsman, and Vasundhara, a studious girl from a simple family, who fall in love despite their differences. Their parents oppose the marriage and force them to stay apart for one year. The film was a major commercial success and won four Filmfare Awards South and five Nandi Awards. It was remade in Hindi as Yeh Dil and in Tamil as Madurai Veeran. The film released on 10 August 2001.

Storyline
Ravi is a rich college sportsman who hates studying. Vasundhara is a serious, hardworking girl who cannot stand him at first. But hatred slowly turns into love. When they decide to marry, their parents refuse and force them to stay apart for one year. The couple must fight against family pressure, separation, and danger to prove their love is real.
