• Their first film together, Thotti Gang (2002), almost didn't happen. Director E. V. V. Satyanarayana was hesitant to pair a newcomer (Naresh) with a veteran like Brahmanandam. Naresh personally convinced him by promising to match Brahmanandam's timing beat for beat.
• Brahmanandam once said in an interview that Naresh was the only younger actor who could 'throw him off rhythm' on purpose — Naresh would deliberately pause mid-dialogue to make Brahmanandam break character, turning their scenes into a game of who laughs first.
• Their 2011 hit Aha Naa Pellanta directly launched the 'double role comedy' trend in Telugu cinema. Every major comedian tried a double role in the next two years — but none matched the chaos these two created playing four characters between them.
• On the sets of Blade Babji (2008), Naresh and Brahmanandam had a running bet: whoever flubbed a line first had to buy the entire crew lunch. Naresh lost 11 times in one week. Brahmanandam still jokes that Naresh 'funded' the unit's diet.
• Brahmanandam told a TV channel in 2015: 'Naresh is the only actor who makes me work harder. With others, I coast. With him, I have to earn my laughs — because he's already stolen half of them.'
• In Sudigadu (2012), Naresh played a man who can't lie, while Brahmanandam played a compulsive liar. The entire comedy came from Naresh's straight face forcing Brahmanandam to over-exaggerate every reaction — a rhythm they perfected over 9 previous films.
