• Brahmanandam and Murali Mohan first shared screen space in Gharana Bullodu (1995), but the film tanked so badly that nobody expected them to work together again. Eight years later, Raghavendra (2003) brought them back — and it became a sleeper hit that revived both their careers in comedy-drama space.
• In Vishnu (2003), Murali Mohan played the stern father while Brahmanandam was the comic sidekick. The trick was that Brahmanandam would deliberately over-deliver his lines in front of Murali Mohan, forcing the senior actor to react with genuine irritation — that annoyed-dad energy became the scene's selling point.
• Their pairing in Jai Simha (2018) — where Murali Mohan played the hero's father and Brahmanandam the comic relief — directly inspired the father-son-comic trio template that Balakrishna reused in his next two films.
