• Their first film together, Dil (2003), almost didn't happen. Chalapathi Rao was initially hesitant to play the father role opposite a much younger hero. Raghu Babu convinced him by saying the script needed his comic timing to balance the emotional beats.
• In Sudigadu (2012), Raghu Babu and Chalapathi Rao played off each other's physical comedy. Raghu would set up a punchline with exaggerated body language, and Chalapathi would underplay his reaction — making the joke land harder. That rhythm became their trademark in later films.
• Their pairing in Yamudiki Mogudu (2012) directly inspired the comic duo template for the 2014 hit 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda'. The director of that film admitted in an interview he wanted the same 'senior-junior comic friction' that Raghu and Chalapathi had nailed.
