- A key comedy scene involving a 'ghost' was improvised on set to increase the entertainment value.
- The movie's climax was shot in a specially constructed large set to depict the hero's village under threat.
- Despite being an action comedy, the film includes a cameo by a popular Telugu comedian for a separate humorous segment.
- The soundtrack, composed by S. Thaman, reused a popular tune from one of his earlier hit films in a different language.
- It performed well in rural areas, partly due to its theme of a common man outsmarting a powerful local villain.
