Vasantha Maligai is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by K. S. Prakash Rao. It stars Sivaji Ganesan as Anand and Vanisri as Latha. The story follows a wealthy alcoholic playboy who falls in love with an air hostess trying to reform him. The film is a remake of the 1971 Telugu film Prema Nagar. It was produced by D. Ramanaidu and features music by K. V. Mahadevan. The film became a major commercial success, running for over 750 days in theatres. It was digitally restored and re-released in 2013 and 2019.

Storyline
Anand is a rich playboy drowning his pain in alcohol. Latha is a hardworking air hostess trying to support her family. When Anand rescues Latha from an attack, she takes a job as his secretary. She must help him overcome his addiction while fighting his jealous family who want to destroy their love.
