
Pasamalar(1961)
Pasamalar is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by A. Bhimsingh. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, and Savitri in lead roles. The story follows Rajasekharan, who becomes the guardian of his younger sister Radha after their parents' death. Their strong bond is tested when Radha falls in love with Rajasekharan's friend Anand. The film explores themes of sibling love, jealousy, and sacrifice. It won the National Film Award for Certificate of Merit for Second Best Feature Film in Tamil in 1962. The film was a commercial success, running for over 26 weeks in theaters. A digitally restored version was released on 15 August 2013.

Storyline
