Trivia

  • This film marked the Tamil debut of director Ezhil, who was already known for his successful comedies in Telugu.
  • The movie's title, 'Pennin Manathai Thottu', translates to 'Touching a Woman's Heart' in English.
  • Prabhu Deva, primarily known as a dancer and actor, played the rare role of a heart surgeon in this film.
  • Actress Jeya Seel, who played the female lead, had earlier acted with Prabhu Deva in the 1998 film 'Kaathala Kaathala'.
  • The film's soundtrack was composed by Deva, who was a highly popular music director for romantic films in the 1990s.
  • A subplot involving comedy actor Vivek provided comic relief, which was a common trait in Tamil romantic dramas of that era.
  • Despite the star cast, the film had a relatively low-key release compared to other Prabhu Deva movies of the time.
