Maravan(1993)
Maravan is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Manoj Kumar. The film stars Prabhu as Police Inspector Sethupathi and Khushbu as Thangathai. Vijayakumar, Sumithra, Napoleon, R. P. Viswam, and Vadivelu appear in supporting roles. The story follows an honest IPS officer who is transferred to a remote village terrorized by a corrupt politician and his father. He reforms the local police and fights the villains to restore peace. The music was composed by Deva with lyrics by Vaali. The film was released on 15 August 1993.

Storyline
A newly appointed IPS officer named Sethupathi arrives in a village ruled by a cruel politician and his father. The villagers live in fear. Sethupathi must reform the useless local police and take on the powerful criminals to bring justice back to Solaiyoor.
