Airport(1993)
Airport is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Joshi and written by S. N. Swamy. The film stars Sathyaraj as Captain Arjun, Gautami as Meenu, and M. G. Soman as the villainous Senior Minister Krishnamoorthy. The story follows an honest pilot who is framed for terrorism after rescuing a minister's daughter from a fake kidnapping. The film is notable for having no songs, a rare choice for Indian cinema of that era. It received critical acclaim for its taut script and skillful direction but underperformed at the box office. Storyline
Captain Arjun, an honest pilot, agrees to rescue a minister's daughter from terrorists. The rescue is a trap, and Arjun is framed for terrorism. He loses his family and his freedom. Now he must fight to clear his name and expose the minister's evil plan.
