Trivia

  • The film's title 'Naukar Biwi Ka' translates to 'Servant of the Wife', hinting at the loyal driver's key role in the plot.
  • This movie was one of several multi-starrer family dramas director Rajkumar Kohli made in the early 1980s, like 'Jaani Dushman'.
  • Actor Jeetendra, known for his romantic roles, played the police inspector, a more serious character for him at the time.
  • The plot spans generations, showing the children growing up in the film industry, a less common narrative for its time.
  • The soundtrack featured music by R.D. Burman, but the songs did not become major hits like his other 1983 works.
  • It included veteran actor Pran as the wealthy Bishamber Nath, adding a familiar face to the family conflict.
  • The film's mix of crime, family separation, and Bollywood backdrop made it a typical example of a Hindi 'masala' movie.
