Premante Idera(1998)
'Premante Idera' (1998) is a Telugu romantic drama film directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee. It stars Venkatesh and Preity Zinta in her Telugu debut. The story follows Murali who falls in love with Sailu during a friend's wedding, only to discover she is engaged to a police officer. The film is set in a traditional village and explores the conflict between love and family obligations. It was praised for its cinematography by Jayanan Vincent, who won the Nandi Award. The music by Ramana Gogula became a chartbuster. The film was commercially successful and was later remade in Kannada as 'O Premave'.
