• Srividya once said in an interview: 'Pandu made me laugh even when the scene was supposed to be serious. I had to look away from the camera to hide my smile.'
• Pandu and Srividya first shared screen space in 'Thirumathi Palanisamy' (1992), but the film bombed so hard (2.5/10) that nobody expected them to work together again. They did — three more times.
• In 'Purusha Lakshanam' (1993), Srividya played the long-suffering wife while Pandu played the comic husband. Their timing worked because Pandu deliberately slowed his delivery to match Srividya's measured, emotional pauses — making the comedy land harder.
