• Brahmanandam and Suhasini first shared screen space in 'Amma' (1991), but they didn't have a single scene together. The director, who was nervous about pairing a top comedian with a leading lady, kept them in separate tracks until the climax — where they finally exchanged one line.
• In 'Sakutumba Saparivara Sametam' (2000), Brahmanandam improvised a 3-minute monologue about Suhasini's character's cooking. Suhasini, instead of reacting, stayed completely still — her deadpan silence made the scene land so hard that the director kept the take even though the camera had slightly wobbled.
• Their pairing in 'Dost' (2004) directly inspired the comedy track in 'Race Gurram' (2014) — the same writer reused the 'wife vs. mother-in-law' dynamic from 'Dost' but flipped the genders. Brahmanandam later said in an interview that Suhasini's timing in 'Dost' taught him how to play the straight man.
• On the sets of 'Chantigadu' (2003), Suhasini would bring homemade Andhra pickles for Brahmanandam every day. He later admitted that he deliberately flubbed lines so she'd stay longer on set — because her pickles were better than the caterer's.
• Brahmanandam once told a Telugu magazine: 'Suhasini is the only actress who made me forget my lines. Not because she distracted me — because I was too busy watching her act.'
