• Their first film together, Alludugaru (1990), was a remake of a Tamil hit. Mohan Babu personally requested Ramya Krishnan to step in after the original choice backed out. She said yes without reading the script.
• In Major Chandrakanth (1993), Mohan Babu played a blind father and Ramya Krishnan played his daughter-in-law. He deliberately underacted in their scenes together, letting her emotional beats lead. She later said that restraint taught her how to hold a scene without dialogue.
• Their 2008 film Hero was the first Telugu movie to feature a female-led action climax where Ramya Krishnan’s character physically fights the villain. Mohan Babu co-produced it and insisted her fight sequence be shot without a body double. That scene directly inspired the action choreography in later films like Kick 2.
• On the sets of Annamayya (1997), Mohan Babu would bring homemade biryani for the entire crew every Friday. Ramya Krishnan once joked that she signed Raju Maharaju (2009) just because he promised to bring it back. He did.
• Ramya Krishnan said in a 2016 interview: 'Mohan Babu is the only co-star who would call me before every shot and ask, 'What do you want me to do today?' He never imposed his style. He let me find my character first.'
• In Allari Mogudu (1992), their comedy track relied on Mohan Babu deliberately flubbing his lines to make Ramya Krishnan break character. The director kept those takes because her genuine laughter fit the scene. It became the film’s most replayed sequence.
