• Akshay Kumar was already a star when Gulshan Grover signed on for Angaaray (1998). But Grover didn't just play the villain — he also co-produced the film. That means he literally hired himself to work opposite Akshay.
• In Jumbo (2008), both actors voiced animated elephants. Akshay played the title role, Gulshan voiced the villain. They never shared a frame — just a recording booth. It's the only film where they acted together without actually seeing each other.
• Gulshan Grover has said in interviews that Akshay Kumar is one of the few co-stars who still calls him 'Gulshan bhai' off-camera, even after 20 years. They never became close friends, but Akshay always maintained that respect.
