• Senthil and Seetha first shared screen space in Aayiram Pookkal Malarattum (1986), but the film tanked hard. Nobody expected them to pair up again. Yet they did — nine more times over the next decade.
• In Shankar Guru (1987), Senthil played the comic sidekick while Seetha played the romantic lead. Their timing clicked because Senthil deliberately slowed his delivery to match Seetha's more measured reactions — a rhythm they kept for every film after.
• Their 1989 film Yogam Rajayogam directly inspired the popular 'double role comedy' template that later directors like K. S. Ravikumar used in films like Muthu (1995). Senthil played twin brothers, and Seetha played both love interests — a first for a comedy pair in Tamil cinema.
