• Seetharamaiah Gari Manavaralu (1991) was the first time they shared screen space. Murali Mohan played the son-in-law; Kota Srinivasa Rao played the father. The director K. Viswanath deliberately paired them to create a generational clash — and it worked so well that they repeated it four times.
• In Gharana Bullodu (1995), Kota’s loud, explosive style as the villain forced Murali Mohan to play quieter and more reactive. Murali later said in an interview that Kota’s energy on set made him hold back — and that contrast is what made their scenes crackle.
