• Tanikella Bharani wrote the dialogues for 'Annamayya' (1997), and he specifically requested Suman to play the role of Lord Venkateswara. That film became a devotional classic and gave Suman one of his most iconic roles.
• In 'Gangotri' (2003), Suman played the villain and Tanikella Bharani played the hero's father.
