• Tanikella Bharani didn't just act with Nagarjuna — he wrote the dialogues for their first film together, Varasudu (1993). That script brought them together on set before they ever shared a scene.
• In Manmadhudu (2002), Nagarjuna played a misogynist, and Bharani played his comic sidekick. Bharani's deadpan reactions forced Nagarjuna to soften his character's edges — the film's heart came from that push-and-pull.
• Their 1997 film Annamayya launched a whole sub-genre of devotional biopics in Telugu cinema. After its success, every major star wanted a saint film — and Nagarjuna and Bharani reunited for Shirdi Sai (2012) to repeat the formula.
